1. Global Issues in Context provides a helpful map to get to the Sweden page (click on the pin in the map, probably easier just to search).  Global Issues In Context has good overview information and current events articles worth browsing.

2.  Academic Search Complete, and search:

  • women AND Sweden
  • women AND Sweden (Select a Field drop down menu choose GE:Geography)
  • equality AND Sweden (Select a Field drop down menu choose GE:Geography)

3. Try searching the Library Catalog for books and book chapters, for example this title has a chapter specifically about Sweden.

Awakening : #MeToo and the global fight for women’s rights/ R. Vogelstein & M. Stone

Limit your search to Library Catalog and search Sweden in all fields limited to the past 3 years. Then in the results page, choose Resource Type (facet on left), Books and also Book chapters. This brings up a nice set of results. If you are getting too many results, add >Women OR Gender< to the second box in your search.

4. Europa World Yearbook

5. Additional Country Research Library Databases
