The library's quiet policy (reinforced with signs around the library) asks that library users speak quietly in the open areas (we prefer whispers), but to be silent in the large study rooms at the back of the main and upper levels of the library. You are welcome to ask people to quiet down. If it's more comfortable for you, you can ask any library staff member to handle this by making a request in person or using our chat service.

Please contact the Library Services Chat or visit a service desk on the main floor and remember to tell us you or the noise is located. We monitor this in real time at both of the desks on the main level.

Thank you for your help keeping the Library quiet.
