Search the following Library Databases for your industry and obtain the names of trade association of interest. Access them from the Databases A to Z listing with your Bentley e-mail address and network password.

  1. IBISWorld Industry Market Research -- Identify the Industry Report; Under the "About this Industry" tab, click on "Additional Resources".
  2. Plunkett Research Online
  3. Encyclopedia of Associations (Look for Gale Databases in the Databases A-Z then select Gale Directory Library to get to Encyclopedia of Associations) -- Worth the effort. Great information available here that is keyword searchable.

To Google for trade associations try:

  • site:*.org and [restaurant ] association
  • site:*.org and [travel ] association
  • trade associations: [coffee ]

Keyword search for articles about your industry from trade journals in the ABI Inform Collection (ProQuest) and navigate to the trade association that produces them.
