Q. Does the Library provide access to S & P's Capital IQ?

The Bentley Library provides access to S&P Capital IQ NetAdvantage. This database is not the same as Capital IQ which is only available in the Trading Room. The Library's version may meet your needs and is available on and off campus from the Library's Database A-Z listing.

The difference:

Capital IQ

Capital IQ Platform is a web and Excel-based research product that combines deep information on companies, markets, and people worldwide with robust tools for fundamental analysis, idea generation, and workflow management. This resource gets to very granular data. This resource is only available in the Trading Room.

S&P Capital IQ NetAdvantage

S&P Capital IQ NetAdvantage provides access to S&P's Company and Industry Surveys, Stock Guides, Dividend Records, Mutual Fund Ratings, Corporation Records. Industry surveys are updated twice yearly and provide key data on more than 50 industries from Health Care to Telecommunications from a top level or broader view than Capital IQ. This database is accessible from the Library's Databases A to Z listing with your Bentley e-mail address and network password.
