The Bentley Library has language learning materials on audio CD, electronic downloadable audiobooks (including some Mango Languages titles) in our OverDrive database, and print books. Locate these materials by using Library Search.

We provide access to the Transparent Language Online database via our Databases A-Z page. If you are unfamiliar with the database, help documentation is available at the site.

The Boston Public Library provides free access to Mango Languages (and other databases) to Massachusetts full-time and part-time residents, and those who attend school, own property, or work in Massachusetts. Use a Bentley email address (students) or personal email address (any of the other categories above) to sign up for an electronic library card

The Center for Languages and International Collaboration (CLIC) at Bentley offers tutoring sessions and language practice groups in Chinese, French, Italian and Spanish, and other programs and resources such as podcasts. Consult their website for more information.

Free and fee-based language learning apps are searchable online and available for use on a computer and/or with a mobile app. Some programs are Duolingo, Memrise, and Babbel, but there are many others.
