A graphic titled "Know Your Zone" explaining that RED indicates silent study, ORANGE indicates quiet (hushed tones) study, and GREEN indicates normal conversation for collaborative work. Headphones/earbuds must be used for listening to music or videos. Zoom and FaceTime are only allowed in study rooms.

If people are not maintaining the noise requirements of the zone, you are welcome to ask them to quiet down. If it's more comfortable, you can ask any library staff member to handle this. Please tell us where the noise is located by sending a message via the Library Services Chat, or visit a service desk on the main floor. We monitor the chat in real time at the Library Services desk on the main level. We do not ask for your name.

Thank you for your help with keeping the Library quiet. For more information on Know Your Zone, please go to our blog post
